Left click doesn't work as it is supposed to.

First let me link the patch notes changes on the left click...

-Standardised the behaviour of instant skills bound to the left mouse button or any button that is held thusly: all non-Vaal guard skills, Blood Rage, Detonate Mines, Convocation, Phase Run, Vortex, Summon Doedre's Effigy, Focus, Brand Recall and Withering Step will repeat as long as you hold the button down. Berserk, Frostblink and Deathmark will repeat as long as you hold the button down while you also have attack-in-place set. Throw Flare and Throw Dynamite will only be used once if you hold the button down. All auras and other reservation skills, Righteous Fire, Vaal Righteous Fire, Plague Bearer and Vaal Molten Shell will only be used once but also require that you have attack-in-place set.-

Now that we got this out of the way lets get down to the bug,when i used to put lets say purifying flame on left click and hold it down the character will move,if the cursor where above an enemy it would cast the spell,if i removed the cursor from the enemy it would walk again all these while the button was held down,now i have to click on the enemy to start attacking and click again outside of an enemy to start moving.
Also if i hold the button down to move and press a non instant spell it will also cast once the skill assigned to the left mouse button.

Coming to conclusion,using the left mouse button to attack and move at the same time is now unplayable (atleast for me),is this intended?

I also have the same problem. I bind blight to my left click. Normally, if I don't hold down shift it will function just as if I bound "move only" to the left click mouse button. But now each time I flame dash, there's a short period after I dash wherein if I left click without holding shift, the blight will cast instead of moving my character.

I tried testing this with other skills. For example, ball lightning on left click will double cast if I quickly try moving after Shift-left clicking.

I believe this has something to do with the cast animations. If you are still in the middle of a cast animation, the left click appears to use the bound skill instead of moving.

I can confirm this bug, and it's annoying as hell!

The bug appears to be affect any skill bound to left-click. When you use a skill (any skill), then left click somewhere else, it will activate the skill bound to left-click instead of moving to the pointed location. This will continue to happen for 1-2 seconds before you can move with left-click again.

Releasing left-click and left-click again does not work either.

Posted in another thread about this, for now you need to let the previous action to complete its animation before pressing LMB, this may be a bit less negligible once you reach enough attack/cast/action speed.

This has to get fixed ASAP, game is unironically unplayable for some people

Brand recall also has an issue, it has a cooldown without charges - so it cannot repeat. Its problem is that the skill does nothing without a brand deployed, and so left-mouse-bound hold to move with brand recall (attack in place doesn't seem to matter here) works fine while brands are deployed, but you are stood still when you do not have any brands out.

I'd like to note that it happens even with nothing bound to the 'left click' and if you happen to have the left mouse pressed to move and then use a movement skill.

If your left mouse button is held down while moving to a location and you press your right mouse button (for me it's Flame Dash) - it will still pause to fire a basic attack either before or after Flame Dashing, at least as a Witch.
