Spellslinger Mana reservation

The announcement was:

"Spellslinger sets the reservation cost of linked spells to 15% of your maximum mana, with support gem mana multipliers have a direct impact on this reservation cost."

The Gem reveal is:

which I dont fully understand...

Simple: They increased it from 15% to 20% because of reasons

It's not the first time they change something between reveal and league coming out.

yes but is it 20% fix now per supported spell or per spellslinger?
and mana modifiers from supports dont change it now?
Per spell supported by the spellslinger
Not sure on the mana modifier. Blasphemy has same wording but you can lower the mana cost. Probably same here
No i'm pretty sure the override is the minimum, they didn't change it at the last minute its

15% base reservation multiplied by your support gems as usual, or 20% whichever is higher.

Note my interpretation maybe useless <3 but thats how i read it

Blasphemy Support has the same "mana reservation override" wording, and that's not how it works. It sets the skill's base mana reservation to 35%, which is then modified by supports.
It says the reservation cannot be modified, and the reservation will be 20% per spell. Since it cannot be modified you can 6L it and it’ll still be 20% per spell, but if you trigger 3 separate spells it will reserve 60%. Reduced mana reserve will have no effect. I’m curious if linking BM will reserve a flat 20% life. It is a trigger ACTIVE spell (first in the game) which means Spellslinger has both as an active and support function. I suspect this is a sneak peak at how trigger meta gems will function in PoE 2.

You're wrong about the 20% on 6link
Ah, well...

Looks like they killed the skill before it's ever released.

PP will still be vastly superior.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.
