What Uniques went legacy since your PoE start?

I'm a little envious of the folks who played longer than I have.
They had stuff go legacy like Kaom's or Biscos. Me, I get tombfist and now shaper's touch... Most of the other pretty stuff I found since beaten by the nerf bat just got gutted because of one or two prominent builds, like zerphy's or even quill rain. What's your experience been? Have you been around long enough to have some of those treasures locked away in standard? Or do your old trophies just remind you of builds you never got to try because they got nerfed across the board right after finding them in league, or whatever? Yep, totally over league play. lel think most legacy items unless some went legacy before early 2013

I've vendored many legacy items and headhunters.

I like the legacy items like these where the effects were drastically changed, not just a numbers shift.
They have a little more of that special touch to them. Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

Maybe 1/4 or 1/5?
GGG tried to not hurt the players. But sometimes this is a mistake: Legacy Kaoms (1000->500 life), Facebreaker (1000%->800% damage). Old players with this items became rich. But if new uniques are superior to the old ones (and there are many), GGG destroy the value of the old ones. Sometimes to 100%. They could convert old items in both directions if they want to keep the "value" and the balance. |
