Out of the Gate Race Achievement?

There's an achievement to reach level 8 in any race event (Out of the Gate).

Is this about the races this wiki site talks about?

If so, then it seems the last race was in 2016? Will there be a race anytime soon again or is this achievement pretty much impossible to complete now?

But the relevant staff members didn't even bother to react here, so it doesn't seem like there will be a race any time soon.

Seems that really only works in official race events. Let's hope there will be one soon-ish. Last one was 4 or so years ago :'(

GGG, now that the new league starts soon, please consider starting a race with it

The achievement has been impossible to get for YEARS now

It was possible back in Synthesis flashback event.

I got it during the flashback.
