chance to gain phasing on kill

Hi Guys,
i started last week again with POE. I bought a jewel that says: 8% Chance to gain Phasing for 4 seconds on Kill I have killed 1000's of monsters but i have never seen the proc. I play summoner so my kills come from the minions. The reason why I believe it should work is because I am wearing "Lochtonial Caress" and that "on kill" works just fine. https://imgur.com/a/LCfSmxS Anyone has an idea what is going on? It works only with kills done by your character, not your minions.

Well, so it seems.
However I am also wearing some gloves that also state: "On Kill" And this one works all the time while I'm never personally killing any monsters. All kills are done by my minions. https://imgur.com/a/ZUCuWlW So one of these are not working as intended. Or there is an inconsistency in the text. Could anyone explain? i just did some testing, and am 99% sure lochtonial caress dont work with minions. my guess is your confusing that effect with charges you gain from chieftain-ape-spectres or victarios charity/necro aegis combo. if you never see any endurance charges on you, that is the case.
