Dual influence crafting

Hi poe players,

I need your help with the proper but simple way to craft a double influence ring. It needa to have both elder and shaper influence. I know we need awakener orb but as i am playing on xbox and its expensive to craft.i don't want to miss something and pay too much.
Also..is it possible to craft the Assasin's mark on hit on this type of ring. Thank you in advance for your advice on this!

Thank you! This closes one question. Now..if anyone can help with the step by step bullet proof way to craft the dual influence rings..pls.. cash is linited on xbox :)

The way I do it:

Get a shaper or elder ring with the base you want (opal, steel, whatever.). Get a ring of any type with the other influence type. Ensure both rings are of a sufficient ilvl to roll the mods you want.

Scour the shaper ring. Transmute it to magic. Then spam alterations on it until you hit assassins mark. IMPORTANT: the assassins Mark must be the only shaper mod on the ring. You don’t want a second shaper mod. (Generally, if you look at the name of the ring, you don’t want “Shaped opal ring of shaping.”)

Do the same thing with the elder ring. Scour. Transmute. Spam alters until you get the desired mod as the only elder mod.

Once this is done, click awakeners orb. Click on ring that is NOT the final base type you want. Then click on ring that is the base type you want to keep. The second ring will be reforged as a new ring of that type. Two of the mods will be the assassins Mark from the shaper ring and whatever elder mod you had on the elder ring. The rest of the mods will be random.

Edit: final note. If you don’t care about the elder mod because you’re basically trying to craft a second ring to trigger mark of the shaper in your second ring slot, it might behoove you to specifically use an elder ring without an elder mod if there are no elder mods you want. You will still get the double influence ring (and it might still roll a random elder mod) but you won’t guarantee an elder mod which can potentially leave room for more traditional rolls like resistances and life.
