Alchemist's Stone achievement doesn't track abyss jewels

What I did:
Used an orb of alchemy on an ilvl 83 searching eye abyss jewel. The jewel rolled four modifiers (visible in the screenshot).

Expected outcome:
Since Abyss Jewels are Jewels, I expected to get credit for the "Alchemist's Stone" achievement ("Craft an Jewel with four mods using an Orb of Alchemy").

Actual outcome:
Did not get credit for the achievement.
