Catalyst quality dissapearing after using a warlord's exalted orb.

so, i had 15 Fertile Catalyst on my Onslaught Twirl, Vermillion Ring and after that i slammed it with a warlord's exalted orb, and that removed all my  Fertile Catalyst from the ring, is this intended ? if not plz give back my catalyst those ting's are pricy o:

Hi, my understanding is that ALL exalted orbs will remove all ,if any, catalysts applied to an item when used.

If you have any exalt, you will see that it states: "[...] Removes 20% quality applied by catalysts on use"
