New patch what does this mean ?

The following items now allocate to the Map Maker when they drop: Timeless Jewels, Ivory Watchstones, Awakened Gems, Awakener's Orbs, Conquerors Exalted Orbs and Uniques from Legion, Blight, Metamorph and Conquerors of the Atlas bosses

Means that if you were doing any of the instances that any of those items drop in as a party the player who had created the instance/opened the map aka the host would always get the allocation for those items when the game allocates drops to the players in the party.

Funny how people keep spouting GGG doesn’t listen to us and yet they do things like this all the time. There’s been a number of scam threads for thefts of these items. I’m still not sure why you cannot put settings to allocate all items to self + set the duration before they revert to anyone else.

" That and a setting to not lose allocation when player leaves an area, really sucks if someone happens to die and everything allocated to them goes to unallocated. |
