Reason to Run higher tier maps ?

T14-16 maps are much more expensive isnt it better to run lower tiers ?

Does higher Monster level have higher chance to drop better uniques or exalt ?

i dont see any reason to do higher tiers plus i clear faster doing lower tiers

You get considerably more drops at higher tiers, drops are potentially more valuable, and exponentially more experience. I’m not sure how any of that would be unknown to you though.

Depends on what is your aim but there is benefit of running higher tier map

1. High tier map drop higher item level than low tier map.
2. High tier have more exp than low tier map
3. Some atlas item can only drop from high tier map (Ex. Vermillion Ring)
4. High Item level can roll better mod (Ex. % chance to Unnerve Enemies for 4 seconds on Hit. hunter mod)
5. I think Some beast is have minimal tier location
6. Elder and shaper guardian maps can only drop in T14 map or higher
7. Niko sulphite drop more the higher the map tier.
8. Unused Map that drop from your hunt (t14-t16) sold more than lower tiered map .

i think thats all side benefits as far as i know, But if those not interest you and you only need to farm "raw" currency, I think there is no difference between high tier and low tier.

you saying "T14-16 maps are much more expensive" is assumming you are not able to sustain t14-t16. You should able to sustain t14-t16 with tons of leftover maps that can be sold "Expensive"-ly . Just Increase atlas bonus objective and awakening bonus objective 140++, and have all watchstone socketed in the atlas (Awakening 8). You can 'cheat' using unique watchstone if you havent full watchstone, just dont forget to move those unique watchstone around (you dont want to consume those).

But again if you like to farm low tier map. Jun mission is profitable, buy lowest tier breachstone chayula put "It that fled" in research and upgrade until rank 3. You can upgrade breachstone to pure chayula breachstone that can be sold 2,2 ex each.

tl;dr:
Maps of tier x will drop maps of up to tier x + something. Running an "expensive" tier map allows for other expensive maps to drop.

And ofc higher item level = better affixes possible = better items (and more xp.)
