Changing ring/amulet/belt quality

Hi, I am looking at the perfect item to buy (ring) but has a quality that is not needed for me and a change from attribute to life/mana is what I need. Is that possible or would I be stuck with it?

you can change the quality of any jewellery by using the catalysts of your desired qualtity type at any point.
The original quality gets overridden and you have to use 20 new catalysts. Only exception that I'm Aware of are talismans and corrupted items. |
