Selling Currency & fragments

I have been trying to sell some of my fragments and currency items that I have an over abundance of or that I will not be using. I checked the price rate via the official trade and first tried making my currency/fragment tab public and then setting the price for the items individually. After a couple of days I still had not received any messages so I checked the exchange rate (I had set it up to be the lowest "price"initially) and even though my rate was still lower than the going rate, my listings did not show up. I then moved the currency to a normal stash set to public, split the stack for the going rate and after a couple of hours of waiting/refreshing trade for those items, they are still not showing up as listed. Other items in that tab have been selling and as I typed out this post 2 items from that tab sold. I have also been having an issue with crafting. I will go to craft an item on the crafting bench or add a crafting mod to a map and it will tell me that I do not have sufficient currency for this mad. To get them to work I have to go to my stash, open the currency tab and then go back to the map device or crafting table. It will do this several times in the same session. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong and if these two issues are somehow related?

There lately seems to be an issue with poe.trade. Try looking up off the listings from this website.

I haven't used poe.trade in weeks, and it does appear that there is some kind of issue between my stash and the indexing. 2 examles. First the Maraketh splinters I have for sale are not showing up right. I have a stack of 2 listed for 3c, but it is showing a stack of 1 listed for 3c. I listed it that way because the going rate is 2c per and listing it at 1.5c per would make it easy to find my listing since it would be at the top as the lowest rate, however it is showing the correct amount that I have in the public tab I am selling them from. Secondly orbs of transmutation. It is showing a rate of 2c per for that item when in the tab I have a stack of 40 priced for 2c. Also it only shows that I have a stock of 40 when I have 10 stacks of 40 in that same tab. This is also the same tab that the maraketh splinters are in. There is a similar issue with glassblowers baubles. Is the issue caused by me pricing them as a stack instead of individually and as a result they are listing for a rate that is way at the bottom of the list? I often see sellers listing bulk items as 50c for 300 and wanted my items listed in that way so I can liquidate them. How woud I list my items that way?

It sounds as if you are listing it wrong.
Take the above 1287 jeweler's, and say I wanted to sell 14 for 1 chaos, I would list it as ~b/o 1/14 chaos. If I wanted to sell 140 for 10 chaos, ~b/o 10/140 chaos. If I wanted to sell the whole lot for 90c, it would list as ~b/o 90/1287 chaos. If I just priced the stack at 90c, then I priced each jeweler's orb at 90c.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Apparently I have been doing it wrong. So in the case of my orbs of transmutation I would put the note "-price 2/40 chaos" on a stack of them in one of my public tabs and it would add a listing on trade that I am selling stacks of 40 at 2c per stack? Will that work in any tab I mark as public or only my currency tab?

Ok so I put a note on a stack of "-price 1/24 chaos" and my listing is still not showing up when I do a search for tansmute orbs. I also tried "~b/o 1/24 chaos" and that is not showing up either. Both stacks still have that note on them and they are in a public tab. So frustrated.

It should be a simple matter of right clicking and setting the price. The game will code it for you. You also have to give the servers time to update. Listing some don’t matter as long as the tab is public. When looking at bulk purchases it will display the total quantity as available as you have in public stash tabs.

If you were to have 500 orbs of transmutation in a public currency tab and 3 stacks of 40 in other public tabs. Anyone viewing the sale see an availability of 620 orbs. The only way to list the same currency at multiple prices is to either use the forums or a 3rd party site like poe.trade.
