How can I set a comma price for a currency item to sell it in poe trade app?

Hi,
I'm german and use a computer with german windows and german keyboard (hardware and software).

Problem:
I can't set a comma (,) in my vendor box, to define the exchange currency rate.

For example:
I have alteration orbs and want to sell them for chaos orbs.
When I want to enter the price of 0,17 as exact price of chaos orbs for one of my alteration orbs, I can only enter a dot but not a comma (0.17).
After that, the poe trade system doesn't show my offer in the related trading list.

I would be glad for a hint, how to solve this problem.

maybe copy paste a comma character (if the price window allow it, I never test it before)
Otherwise you should be able to switch your keyboard language but that quite a pain just for a single character.

Thank you for the advice. I already tried that, before I opened this thread here. I tried a copy/paste from Notepad, but the comma can't be entered in the trading box this way.
And you are right - to change the keyboard language would be painful...

Are you sure using the period (0.17) doesn't work? The trade api doesn't always update instantly and can take a bit before items show up from my experience. That said I've never done currency selling but I've sold items for like 1.6 exalts before and it went through though I'm on an english keyboard and OS.

For me it looks like that there is a problem with the dot in the currency rate.

I made another test nearly an hour ago (the update can take more than one minute, I know...). I entered the currency rate 0.15 to be sure, that my bid will be shown as the first of all (0,151 was the best bid at that time).

My bid is not shown in the list.


In the sales box dialog, I entered 0.15, and when I have a look at the data afterwards, a currency rate of 0,2 chaos orbs (for 1 alt orb) is shown...

You have to put the fraction rather than the decimal.

But I couldn't comprehend from this discription, how to enter the values into the dialog box...
I thought, with '1/3' only the ratio was discribed - I didn't expect, that this is the correct spelling for the input field.

Now it's clear.
