Dread Banner question

Hi, hoping someone can clarify me one thing: the increased fortify effect of Dread Banner when it is placed is applied only to the fortify effect granted by the banner itself or it's applied also to the fortify that i eventually have by myself for all the duration of the banner?

Max 50 stages will give you Fortify at 100% increased effect for 2.5 seconds. It’s basically a 1 time use guard skill. I’m not sure if you have to stay in range, but I see absolutely no reason to drop it and the run a screen away instantly. The banner itself is decently tanky...would be amazing if we could get a permanent 100% increased Fortify Effect and worthy of at least a 50% Aura all on its own.
