POE trade currency ratio

hey, is there a list of how the official poe trade website ranks currencies?

Example: 1 chaos = xx of other currencies?

Check out poe.ninja. It’s going to be the most inclusive, but it still only compares to chaos. The market fluctuates significantly over the course of the league, so there can’t ever be any fixed list.

I should have been more specific. The POE trading tool ranks items based on price from least to greatest.

If we look at exchange rates by players then we see ~11 silver coins per chaos... and if we look at Alteration orbs they go at ~7 per chaos...

But on the trading tool it says 1 alteration orb is LESS than one silver coin.

I was wondering why this would be the case?

There is clearly an exchange rate built into the trade site and it is not linked to the market other than vary vaguely. Shrewd sellers price in currencies that are misranked in trade relative to market, hoping you won't notice and assume their item is cheaper. It's a form of trading arbitrage made possible by poor information and buyers who don't so their homework.

If you're asking why GGG have not made it a priority to write code that updates the exchange rate and re-sorts items on a real-time basis, well, if this were a real commodity exchange with real dollars involved, I'm sure someone would have. :-)
