Asenath's Chant + Curse on Hit

I'm doing a bow build using Asenath's Arc + Curse on Hit Ele Weakness + Flammability. I see the Arc being cast, but it doesn't seem to be applying the curses. The curse icon's don't appear over the enemies heads. Does Curse on hit not work with Asenath's?

Curses are also Spells - and thus would be supported by Asenath's Chant's trigger, meaning they are supported by two triggers, each of which disables the other.

You can remove the CoH, and it will cycle among all the available spells. Depending on what you want triggered, this may be feasible.
