Can't Acquire 2-3 Socket Crafting Bench Recipe

I'm at depth 82 and just noticed I have the 4 socket recipe, but never got the 2-3 socket recipe. Just now I went and completed the first Azurite Cavity, but the recipe object is not interactable.

On a whim I tried the Second Azurite Cavity in the Azurite Mine. And the crafting recipe was there!
Seems like the bug might be that if the Azurite Cavity is sideways at Depth 1, it can't spawn the recipe.  SSF Keepers: 97
