Add influence to normal item
I want to add hunter's influence to there boots and keep them as sorcerer i lvl 86 boots with the enchant. Trying to get tailwind, I don't need elusive. Can I take a cheap pair of any i lvl boot and use an awakener orb to achieve this or do I need to hit the original boots with a hunter exalt orb (more expensive)? an awakener orb will REROLL your item, adding the influenced mods to the item but rerolling all others.
IF you dont care about any of the stats other than tailwind, another hunter boot with tailwind -> awakener orb these will get you there. |

" Thanks, I don't care about any of the current stats other than the base type and enchant. Does it matter what item level the boots with tailwind are or will my item stay the same level regardless? |

the ilvl of the item you destroy has no effect on your boots.
your boots will always be ilvl 86. |

Can't use an awakener orb in these because my target item doesn't have influence. What would be the best way to proceed? I plan to use one awakener orb and one influence exalted at some point anyway for the challenge so if the end boots aren't awesome I won't be out too much. |

forgot about that.
i would check https://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Boots&an=int_armour and see what (non hunter) influence mod you might like, and make a double influence boot. i think most people use Redeemer to get 'elusive on crit' + tailwind boots. |

I already have elusive as an assassin so don't need that. Ideally I wouldn't have another set mod. Maybe that's not possible.

Had a crusader's orb so used that and got these boots. Now annul the lightning resist I guess? |
