Empower on aura - sheet is not updating

Hi exiles,

so i read empower boosts active skills so i thought im screwed with my plan to beef up the herald of ash, than i found out it should work and the context menu shows empower works with it, so i bought 4/20 empower and poped it in but my sheet dot dps is not moving (443K before and after empower even though in aura tooltips it gives 6% more burning dmg so I´m totaly confused. Especialy i wanted to beef up the herald cause the circle of anguish ring (95% increased effect) but now i dunno if its working or not) - any insight you guys can give is appreciated.

More Burning Damage: Despite the more Spell Fire Damage the more Burning Damage is not global. It only affects the burn created by itself.

ok, that explains why its not in sheet and also if im getting it right it only boosts the dmg of burning which occurs from overkills so when there is a fight where are no mobs just boss its totaly useless and since i have quite fine clear empower on that gem is total waste

if all you care about is the bonus single target damage, a level ONE, 23% herald of ash will do the same as your 21/23 (and cost a lot less)

The only thing herald of ash gains per level is spell damage (which you dont use) and burn damage on the explosions. level 1 still gives 15% of phys as extra fire damage.

well, doesnt matter atm, sold the empower, gonna get some other gems for the mail skills to minmax it and im done with the build got all i wanted / needed so....only bit sad i didnt realize my failed thought before

and yes, single target is the main concern since all on map goes mostly on 1 volley, only bosses takes some time. Now im thinking if i wanna reduce a bit mana reserve and go with enlight or just cba but then i´m gonna have 1 sock open on boots cause there is no other gems which fits in and does anything....pity i cant use double enhance, that is marvelous for the ash....
