Socket colouring and linking
|
Few seconds ago I have waste about 800 chro to get 2 red sockets and 2 green sockets in my armor. In 6 linked item probobility to have 2-2 color item should be like 1 to 120 (even less becouse sequence is not important). However if within 800 moves I have not achieved even once 2-2 (green to red, most times there were just blue) it seems that coloring over some value might be blocked or limited by devs. If so... meaning of heaving fun by playing in game is destroyed be GGG which only target is only earning money.

You should always check the Vorici calculator before you try for off color sockets. https://siveran.github.io/calc.html
You may not like the odds, but at least you will know what they are before you decide to try. Also keep in mind that those are just averages. Your actual results may vary significantly. Last edited by GreyLensman#5323 on Jan 6, 2020, 9:49:54 AM

" But where in all of those things is - fun? It seems that GGG has create a game against us and not for us. This calculator is a some-guy creation and it may nothing to do with any values included to the game. Last edited by neosphoros#6716 on Jan 6, 2020, 10:44:09 AM

The information is there; whether you use it or not is up to you.
Whether you play or not is also up to you. Cheers |

If you want a game where everything is clear, simple, straightforward, fault-proof, where everything works with everything and you are ready to just press the "I win" button, then PoE is the exact opposite.. But cca 95% of these days AAA games are like that, so..

" POE is the only game like this... where da F is fun if the GGG trying to take everything from the game what giving players to feel comfortable and manipulating them with so many undefined variables. Mostly target for player is to achieve smoething... how can I achieve it (in case of POE) - if something might be unachievable due to unknown specified variables with no controll? The reason for games are to be based on clear rules... to be understood. Rules in POE are not clear, it is one big mess. F POE! D4 please come in !!!! " Ok, If you don't want to use a tool that has been used for years it's your problem, but then don't come to mourn the forum. We all know for years that depending on the requirements it's more likely or less likely to have certain colors. It's almost impossible to have 6 blue sockets in armor that asks for strength (for example), even having 4 or 3 blues in such armor is difficult. If you don't like the rules that have existed for years, what are you doing here? Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

maybe if you asked normally, people would tell you how we solve issues with off-color linking.. but if you only want to complain, whine, and express some childish tinfoil hat theories.. then.. hard to help you

" What is abnormal in describing game problems? How I could know if there is any solution if the game suggest that there is no other possibility? My behaviour is absolutely normal move. |

" Spending 800 chromes is far from being a normal attitude. The normal thing is to spend maybe 100 and that is enough to realize if what you want to get is difficult or not. If it turns out to be difficult, instead of spending another 700 chromes, I'm going to buy what I want like an intelligent human being. Look at this: Yesterday I bought it for 1 ex because I needed an armor with those specific colors and I didn't lose a single chrome trying to get the same result in these other 3 armor of mine because I'm not stupid. Do you know the exchange rate? In ST it is 600 chrome = 1 ex. It's quite likely that what you wanted was in the market at a lower price than what you lost. Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?
