Voidforge Infernal Sword ~ 0 damage question
Hello. I was following a guide for a build and when I reached 67 lvl I was supposed to switch to the amazing weapon called Voidforge Infernal Sword. My Total damage went down to ~0 and I couldnt kill a fly in any instance. I understand there must be a peculiarity about this weapon and I might be probably one click away from bringing the mechanics of the build online but I cant see how or where to even start. Can any of you give me some guidance?
Thank you in advance, Last bumped on Jan 4, 2020, 8:19:41 AM

Please unhide your characters or give way more information. Probably has something to do with the last mod on the sword.

your chars are private so.. we can only guess, which is not that hard regarding this issue. Voidforge says it can deal only elemental damage ("Deal no Non-Elemental Damage") and you probably have Brutality support gem, which says something about dealing phys damage only..

You have a few impale perks but they do nothing for you if you deal no physical damage.
You're basically never Full Life so your damage on full life support on cyclone is useless. You also haven't done the labyrinth yet. The ascendancies are useful. If you did that and went Slayer and got the leech perk you could actually make use of the Damage on Full Life support. |

What makes total combined dps fall dramatically to practically zero when the weapon itself gives physical damage that converts 300% of it to elemental? Whats so tricky about this build?

Because its a random element.
The tooltip doesnt know if its going to be fire, cold or lightning and cant calculate the dmg. Its still working, dont worry |

Its not just the stats tab I m looking at. I tried the sword in an instance, it actually and practically , does potato damage!
