Cleave/Sweep, area of effect support gems and Amplify questions

Hello, I'm enjoying my 2H melee duelist using Cleave/Sweep as my main AOE attack.
I use Cleave, and now Sweep, with Increased Area of Effect + Melee Physical Damage + Faster Attacks. I would like to incorporate Concentrated Effect into my build but I fear the reduction in the area it hits. Would Amplify be worthwhile choice to combat the reduction when Concentrated Effect is used? It is 2 points away since I have picked the nearby HP nodes. Additionally, would you use Increased Area of Effect and Concentrated Effect at the same time in 5L setup? |

" This allows me to run hatred aura, which is slightly lower dps than if I ran added fire in place of the blood magic and had bm passives. But I can run more auras this way. Drop the blood magic and my 5L was sweep, melee dama, FA, conc, inc aoe. I just used 1 less aura and kept mana leech on gear. If you can't run 5L, I would run 4L with sweep, fa, melee dam, and increased aoe. I prefer this since I like the larger aoe, and you don't really have to have mega damage, but when you have the 5l it gets really nice, leech a lot more etc. I like taking extra aoe passives too. I once had a templar with every aoe passive, and it was honestly awesome. Just didn't have enough tankiness for some of the harder maps, I think someone could make it work though at higher levels. But even that one node you are talking about is significant, and it boosts physical and elemental damage done. |
