Can I proc elemental equilibrium with 1 ele damage?

Can I reliably proc EQ with only 1-2 fire damage on my gear? Will it work against bosses with more than 50% of fire res if I roll the 1 fire damage on my attack?

As long as you deal ele dmg it will work just fine

" I understand that. My question is basically will I do dmg to a boss with 1 fire damage when he has 50+% fire resistance. Will I do 0.5 dmg? Will I do 0 becaues dmg can't be lower than 1? Will I always do at least 1 fire damage no matter how many resistance the boss has? |

I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure Elemental Equilibrium applies according to damage dealt, i.e. "outgoing" damage before the monster's modifiers to damage taken apply. In any case, if you're using EE, you probably have a substantial amount of Increased Elemental Damage on your tree. If you have at least 100%, your 1 minimum damage becomes 2, and 50% resistances only reduces it to 1.

" Nope I have exactly 1-2 xD. Just want to use it in the zombie build to get a bit more dmg out of my hatred zombies. Only really need boss dmg though so if it doesn't work for high res bosses it's basically useless for me. |

1 point of damage is enough. Anything above zero works just fine. I'd recommend to use a spell for that purpose though (e.g. Armageddon Brand or Stormbrand or GMP-Ball Lightning), because it's much more comfy than an autoattack.
dedadadadedoodoodoo is all i want to say to you
