Mark of the shaper/call of the brotherhood influence

Mark of the shaper is supposed to provide 80% spell damage if the other ring is an elder ring.
Using a hybrid influence of shaper and elder on the call of the brotherhood does not provide the bonus from mark of the shaper

I have experienced the same bug.


If you put a shaped influenced ring on to an elder influenced ring it does not work, however if you put elder influence onto a shaped influenced ring it does for Mark of the shaper. So if you do it the right direction, you can have a elder base to make mark of the shaper work, with a assassins curse mod on it.


I have not been able to test, but I am guessing you will have the same issue with the eternity shroud. So i am guessing atm, you can not have all items shaped, while having a dual elder/shaped ring to make mark of the shaper work.


I too have submitted a bug report, but i am expecting a "not a bug, but a feature"


Because You can have a shaped item with elder influence or an elder item with shaped influence. The movement of influence does not make it a "Shaped Elder" or an "Elder Shaped" item...its still just a shaped or elder item with added influence.
