Is xsolla trustworthy?
Hello there,
I want to buy the first blood pack but xsolla seem to be the only payment method other than karma koin (which I either know anything about) but, I have been reading quite a lot of sketchy thing about xsolla in reddit and other random sites. Does everyone use xsolla to buy coins? Last bumped on Dec 30, 2019, 10:35:58 AM

you can use debit/credit card, or buy karma koin from gamestop
If you can't control it, STOP.

It wouldn't even be a matter of Trust here since it's a fairly new company...you'd have to bite the bullet and try the service ("New Burger join in town!" -> Go eat one and see if the hype was true...)
They have a great idea from a business standpoint and are integrating with other AAA game publishers/developers (and allowing Indie and AA onto the platform) so I don't see the worry. PS. In Retail/Service is it 65% more likely that the customer is the moron in any situation, with simple errors taking another 15%...people switching payment zones and using their cards as normal to bypass currency exchange rates, using their parents card and triggering anti-fraud detection, creating accounts with fake names while being a minor (and being unable to update them to adult/open accounts when they become of-age), over-drafting, double-charges because they smashed that submit button 20 times, etc et el, are just a few things I can think of that most consumers will try and point to the company as being at fault...and hear to reddit to post about them. You also have to factor in scammers who will cry on social-media to social engineer a response from support in hopes of free shit... |

Ive used it before with the only issue being my bank will block their transactions because they claim they have a high rate of nefarious transactions so they block them automatically.
So i basically have to call my bank and ask them to remove this block temporarily in order to make my transactions go through with no issues. But, at least i know if something fishy does get attempted without my doing it my bank will auto block it so in the end its worth the little extra hassle. And this seems to only be a thing with my bank in particular. Again they claim to have a high rate of fraudulent transactions through that service is why but absolutely nothing to do with POE just Xsolla in general. Apparently they service many things outside the US not just POE. There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation. The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear. I ordered a pack but some error occurred. They took my money but never refunded... I wrote on support and told them to give me my money back since I didnt get the pack, they said I will get it in like 7 days after an error (which was already another 7 days overdue). I never got my money, and the xsolla support was total im*ecile.
So yeah, I lost my money. I wouldnt ever use them. + They have awfull online reviews. Last edited by lolcaaa#6268 on Dec 30, 2019, 9:32:43 AM
