User Interface: How to use flares/dynamite?

Hi,

I'm a new player, and I just started delving. One questions I have is: how do I actually use my flares and dynamite?

When I go into the mines, the flare and dynamite icons show up above my skill bar, but for the life of me, I can't find out how to activate them. I've tried left click, right click, drag and drop, I've tried to put them in my skill bar, I've searched the input options in settings, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to use the flares I purchased. They just sit there, unresponsive, mocking me in my frustration.

I'm sure this is a newbie question, so if someone could please help me out of my ignorance and tell me what freaking button I press to throw a flare or place a stick of dynamite.

I am playing on PC.

There are keybindings for both in Option menu. Ive put flares under space and dynamites under V. Pretty convenient.

Isn't it "6" and "7" by default?

yep, you are 100% correct.

Thank you! I found it. It turned out to be Temp Bound Skill 1 and 2
