Item mods, new question, 3 suffix+3prefix only?

is there a resource somewhere where it states what item types are able to have what affixes?

basically a list of ''x dagger'' can have any of these prefixes: ''1,2,3,4,etc..'' and any of these suffixes: ''1,2,3,4,etc...'' (for base items, not specific rares)

or the same for shields/armors/helms etc...

im wondering because in crafting i would like to know what i have left to roll if i were to exalt an item, in addition i would like to know if there are 'caps' on what an item can get, for example; an es armor can get a max of 107-148 local es, can a shield also get this max or is it limited to the next tier down of 73-106 local es?

im trying to craft a helm at the moment and have 2 exalts to go on it and was wondering what is the max +local es i can get, and what other mods are avail.



(the reason im going to be exalting this is due to the fact that the es% on this can be divined up to 120% and its in the top tier of +acc)

the wiki has a list of all the different affixes, but doesnt state which ones are specific to which item types as far as i can tell

OK, new question, are we limited to 3 suffix and 3 prefix or can i roll more suffix than prefix or vise versa?

Limited to 3 of each, once you have 3 prefixes any exalted orbs will only add suffixes and vice versa.
