Map stash tab issue

Ive been farming Atlas so i decided to buy a map stash tab to help manage the gross amount of maps im getting. The issue is I've been getting Maps as drops with the same name as previous Maps but with higher/different tiers. When I try to find said Map on the tab, the tiers don't match. And sometimes the tab will create a new slot on the tab and other times it wont. I'm extremely confused.
 Example: The map im dragging is a tier 7 Defiled Cathedral and the only slot the name "Defiled Cathedral" exists in is in Tier 5. I also hover around Tier 7 to see if it it'll stash it. No luck Last bumped on Dec 23, 2019, 12:14:38 PM

Looks like your Map Stash Tab may be set to a different series of maps than the ones you're picking up.
A Map Stash Tab can only hold maps from one series at a time. Different series are indicated by different background map art. You can right click on your Map Tab while it's empty to change what series of maps it is set to.
