No shotgun for Shrapnel Ballista with Arrow Nova Support

" I tracked the hits and monster life bar when Shrapnel Ballista shot at mid-range. (I summon the ballista, run to the zombie, endurance cry taunt it.) to record the damage for one projectile. Then with arrow nova support: I saw the arrow from air landed right on the only monster on my screen and no nova arrow came out. then I equipped a pierce quiver(no damage mods), the arrow nova fired out. both setups do damage close to an amount as if without arrow nova support. (did both tests several times, checked the life bar of the monster.) I assume it does 2 hits. one for landing, one for arrow nova. the support makes 40% less damage and somehow causes 2hits, the damage matches. A: the shotgun is not there, and it's intended. Then the monster should take only one projectile from nova arrows and the rest arrows should be fired. B: the shotgun is there, the monster takes all the nova arrows, but the damage calculation is bugged. I prefer B. xD Savour these moments, for they may never return.
