Can't join temple of decay level 2

Fix was to have a friend escort me through the kill. If he left the area, I would literally get kicked off the game and back to login screen...

I have a similar problem going from Control Blocks to Oriath Square. Ran Control Blocks 5 times and getting the same error. Because of the way act 5 changes from Oriath Square to Ruined Square after Innocence is killed I can't get portal'd from friends because I'm not at that part of the quest.
