Flasks Sometimes Not Working

I have noticed that occasionally I press a health or mana flask button and I hear the sound effect for it being used, but it does not use any charges, or heal. I read in the known issues that potions don't work if alt, ctrl, or shift is pressed with it. It is possible that maybe my hand has grazed one of those keys while pressing the flask button, but seems sort of unlikely. It happens very rarely, and I just can't come up with what might be triggering it. Just thought I ought to report it to see if anyone else has noticed it, or has any insights.

We've had a few reports of this, it's probably latency related - We've been unable to reproduce it locally. What latency do you usually play at? You can find out by pressing F1.

"My latency is roughly between 40 and 85, about 90% of the time. And up to about 100 the other 10% of the time. I of course have occasional lag spikes up to the multiple hundreds as well. http://www.therainforestsite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=4

I've had it happen several times as well. It seems to happen if attacking while trying to use the flask. Every time it happened to me it was while I was holding down one of my skill buttons. But it could just be coincidence.

" Yes, me too. I tend to always hold down the button to keep attacking and this bug has killed 2 of my HC characters. I made a thread on this recently and no one responded. I find it difficult to believe that this isn't a wide spread thing. |

It's easy to reproduce by mashing the potion button. The sound plays every time you hit the button, in this way you can get 10 "gulp" sounds from a 5-use flask.
Not sure if that is related or not. I know what the OP means, it can happen occasionally with a single key press. |

It doesn't happen on our local realms, probably because of the negligible latency - This could mean the data is just being lost, or a spike of lag is causing the flask drink to take too long, or the packet is being lost completely. We'll see if we can find a way to reproduce it locally!

It happens to me as well. 140 latency.

None of the flasks work for me. Only solution seems to be to portal back to forest encampement at which time health goes back up to 100% and then I return to the action. Very clunky! This is a recent developement. Any ideas? I hate to delete the character and start over but if it happens for all characters, I will have to dump tne game. Too bad because I am having a great time! Way better than D3.
