LOCK ITEM OPTION

When u hover mouse over any item with mods in game that can be modified in any way, you should have a lil popup button to lock/unlcok item, so that when it's lcoked, no divine/annul/chaos/etc orb can modify it until u unlock it, would be nice

Originally on Console, the same button was used to Equip and to Identify. This lead to many instances of Equipping items that had already been Identified which was a pain with Spectres and Ability requirements as examples, but potentially rage/tear inducing if something got Vendored in a rush to get back to the Grind (belts, rings and amulets - stuff without sockets of course). Many posted pleas (multiple from myself) got made for the ability to lock down equipped Gear.

We never got a Lock Gear function, but GGG did make Identify a separate button from Equip. It solved much of the problem but still left an opportunity for Players to do themselves dirt via carelessness, foolishness etc.

So my guess is that GGG might do something to avoid inadvertent orb use, but perhaps not something that offers ironclad protection. But since the issue has survived this long on PC, perhaps that indicates that GGG is happy with the current state of affairs. Any how, good luck with your request.
