Would VPN be a problem?

Hello dear exiles,

Since a few days I own a VPN account. I use it especially to watch content, that is blocked, or not available in my country (Germany). Like YouTube videos, Netflix, or the Mandalorian.
Could I get any trouble when I use it while I stand in my HO waiting for trade requests?

You can't get in trouble for using a VPN (unless you are trying to evade some sort of IP Ban or what have you).

However, you will have to enter an unlock code when you use it and login, as your IP address is going to change.

Rule of thumb: If you are not sure, email support@grindinggear.com and ask. Why take the risk?

Thanks for your answer. I wouldn't take a risk. My question is if it IS a risk at all.
I think it could smell like account transfer, if my location jumps within a blink of an eye.

In short: Yes, you can get in trouble for using a VPN.
