Will Zana be 50 years old in PoE2
|
Endgame in both games is supposed to be the same, i.e. maps.
So it is quite possible that Zana will appear in PoE2 too. Considering that she is about 30 years now, and PoE 2 timeline is 20 years later, will we meet 50-year-old Zana? Or she will get some advice from Atzir how to stay young "War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost." Last bumped on Nov 26, 2019, 3:28:06 PM

Yeah, don't think she'll be making an appearance if she's in her 50's. Either she somehow stays young or gets out of the picture completely.

" probably gonna be the endgame boss instead of shaper, betrayal style. including uber zana encounter: *do something exile, muhahaha* |

The Elder is wearing Zana's skin like a suit and recuperating from the beating he got while trying to get other Exiles to beat the bunch who have taken over the Atlas.

" First off it's both campaigns not both games. PoE and PoE2 are different campaigns of the same game. Who told you Zana is 30 now? Even if you try to assess her age by her appearance she doesn't look a day over 20. So she will be 40 at most in PoE2. PoE II is when Zana finally gets to retire at 60 and tell stories around the campfire of how she made exiles kill thousands of map inhabitants because their rent was due. As for Atziri her skincare line is doing well so I doubt she'll give her secrets away to anyone. |

" The meaningless difference in this question. And even if we assume 20 (she looks older, but nevermind), 20 years gap still exists. "War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost." Last edited by Nishrek#6401 on Nov 23, 2019, 10:57:22 AM

I think it's clear at this point they're playing very loosely with continuity.
It already happened with Betrayal, where the only betrayals that happen are what Janus did and the betrayals you can do with the mechanic. Now your characters that washed ashore on Wraeclast had never met the Forsaken Masters before unlike the versions in the previous leagues. The Conquerers of the Atlas storyline is that the characters that defeated Uber Elder had become too godlike (something we've speculated could happen to the exiles at some point) and have become a world ending threat.. except this all happened when our exiles washed ashore meaning that the characters we play as will never canonically be the ones to defeat Uber Elder outside of Zana missions. The PoE2 exiles look similar to the PoE1 ones, the Ranger sounded like she had the same voice actress. It's possible that they're actually taking the same characters but putting them in a story that is 20 years later, and the events of the Atlas take place 20 years later instead of during PoE1. In hindsight Synthesis kind of already set this up because child Zana and her father being betrayed by Venarius could happen just before Act 5 and 20 years later when she's an adult the Atlas can take place during PoE2's timeline. |

" So she'll be 40 in PoE2. What's the problem? |

Time likely passes different in maps and she likely spends enough time in maps that she really won't age a day in 20 years.
It's why the templar conquerer is still alive. IGN: Arlianth
