Think they said that all accounts that are already there get the old ascendancies unlocked for the pool. So you can just play the new marauder with one of the old ascendancies instead of picking one of the new ascendancies.
But to play old marauder with new ascendancy you need to unlock them

Yeah thats bad, but fonrtunately I guess we will all wanna try the new ones, so it's not harm to play poE2 to unlock them, I guess.

So if you want to combine old and new asc u need to run both campaigns? If so will it take twice as long to just get to end content?

If you're an old player, then you don't need to play the old campaign at all - you'll get all the old ascendancies unlocked already since you've already used them all these years. So just make chars in the new campaign to access and unlock those ascendancies. And you don't need to play both campaigns to get to endgame - either campaign leads to endgame, so pick whichever you'd like to play through.
