[3.8] a question around "Animate Guardian" wearing "Whakatutuki o Matua"

I was thinking to have the "Animate Guardian" wear the following shield: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Whakatutuki_o_Matua

which has the following attributes:
+3 to Level of Socketed Minion Gems
+(40-80) to maximum Energy Shield
(40-80)% increased Energy Shield
+(15-25) to maximum Mana
20% increased Effect of Auras on you
20% increased Effect of Auras on your Minions
Spreads Tar when you Block
If you have Blocked Recently, you and nearby Allies Regenerate 5% of Life per second

my question is how is one to interpret the attribute "20% increased Effect of Auras on your Minions":
- interpretation A: Allied minions
- interpretation B: Animate Guardian's minions

This interpretation should be correct. I think even chains of command does not give the AG their own minions, so this feature (20% increased Effect of Auras on your Minions) becomes useless if the AG equips this shield.
