Lost Strength and Intelligence
Hi,
I went into the talent tree after leaving Aspirant's Plaza and all of my Strength and Intelligence I have gained has been brought down to base levels. I can no longer socket the gems I had been using What happened? Can I get it back? Thanks Last bumped on Sep 27, 2019, 12:29:43 PM

maybe you pressed "reset passive tree" by mistake?
We (GGG) need a lot mor information to help you so can you start by posting screenshots clearly showing the problem. but start taking out all your gems from all your gear and check your char for how much STR / INT you then have. |

Checking your profile, you never used any ascendancy points, as you have 8 left. This goes for all characters. Also, all your characters are the base classes, none are ascended.
Did you choose an ascendancy and pressed ascend?... Because even without points placed, your characters should have been named their ascendancy class, not the base class. You can not just click the points altar in normal, and then move away when you haven't ascended yet. As this does not pick an ascendancy. It seems you need to run the labyrinth again. Hi again,
First, I am an absolute noob to this game. So take that into account please. I am sure that I have missed several things in this game. What does "reset passive tree" do precisely? I don't have any 'Ascendancy points' I only have passive skill points. I haven't completed a Labyrinth. I died. :( I can't equip most of the gems anymore because they it is stating I don't have enough Strength and/or Int. ![]() ![]() |

You might have had items with stats like strength/int on them and replaced those.
Also stat requirements for skillsgems do increase each time you lvl the gem up. You cant lvl gems, if you dont meet the stat requirements - which again indicates you did have some items with stats on them at some point. A temporary fix would be going to a vendor in town and buying amulets with stat implicits or a heavy belt for the strength implicit. Another option would allocating +30 int or +30 strength nodes on your skilltree for the time being. You can respec them later, once you got gear allowing you to respec those stat nodes. Another option is checking your crafting in your hideout (if you unlocked it already) and just craft some stats on your gear. Last edited by Orbaal#0435 on Sep 27, 2019, 11:05:10 AM

I’d guess you enchanted an item. That unequips it for a second. If you don’t have the stats to re-equip it, it becomes unusable. It might have the stats to keep it equipped once it is equipped. Temporarily equip an item that gives you the stats to equip the item you enchanted.

Hi,
As I said, I am a noob. I believe I have it figured out. I just don't know how it changed my stats so much. It was fine one moment and then not. I reallocated some of my skill points and everything went back to 'normal'. Sorry for wasting your time. But I certainly appreciate your responses! Thanks again. -Kaj |
