I don't know if this is common knowledge but I just added a Vaal Molten Shell to my build and I wanted to see If I could put it on Left click so that I could run normally when clicking it and then cast Molten shell when pressing shift + Left click (Kinda like you would do with a golem). BUT much to my surprise, I don't even have to hold shift, you just run and Molten shell will auto-cast every time the cooldown ends which pretty much automates it completely.
Just letting everyone know just in case you could find it as useful as I did.

Even better: use vaal molten shell on a cwdt setup and put vaal molten shell on left click! I get those 17k armour buffs everytime its available and the normal version will cast when u get x amount of damage. Some people prefer to save it for boss moments, but I like to put it on left click and never think about it again.

Mmh not that I have noticed but I'm playing Venom Gyre so I'm not really clicking on enemies normally. But yeah the only time I couldn't move was when I was in town I just noticed hehe. But while mapping or in HO and clicking on masters there are no issues at all.

Does not work with bone armor but does work with steelskin. Also works with phase run
Gave me an idea. I just tested and it also works for Withering Step. It triggers immediately after cooldown even whilst I'm cycloning with the right mouse button. GG, one less button to press.
Withering Step also has a very low cooldown (1.67s) if you use:
Edit: One big problem is if you run out of mana you can't move anymore. So it's a bit risky if using MoM.

Am I right in thinking that those boots give you Freeze and Chill immunity, while still having sockets?

Nope, you can still be frozen and temp chains/chill can still affect you. Things that apply less/reduced movement speed like Cyclone does not affect you though.
