Any chinese players playing on official server? which VPN are you using?

Hi there!

I have an 3week working trip in china this saturday , i need to get a working VPN client to be able to play PoE , use google and so on :)

Any tips? Astrill seems to be broken right now , express vpn still works?

That's a long Saturday... how do you pull that off?

hmmm I dont have a vpn suggestion for you cuz the vpn I use can only be paid in RMB.
but I do have a reminder for you, if you want to play POE in China, use the official launcher cuz you can't access POE in China through Steam due to the region block. And you might need something like a game booster even you have a vpn or the lag will kill you XD.

They can sniff and block those out quite well over there.

that's why i didn't recommend a private vpn server which encrypts your data but a simple proxy which bounces your unencrypted data.

there are many tutorials how you setup those on aws to get local media broadcasts when abroad or avoid geoblocking

You dont need VPN to play poe

Express VPN - Singapore servers

I'm working in China too.

Game runs fine.

But if ur living out of a hotel... no promises with their internet... even the international hotels have sketchy internet for gaming.

yeah a big business hotel ,holiday inn nothern beijing.

maybe im lucky with the connection ^^.

You don't need a VPN to play but I can't play properly without a tunneling program (always getting disconnected). I have tried 10+ programs and the one that works best for me is Exitlag.

Edit: Living in Beijing by the way, we have a 500mbit optic fiber line with China Unicom.
