This beta timer is pissing me off, such a bad idea.

I'll tell you why it's a bad idea. Every time I come to this site and I don't see my name on the screen or any PMs, it makes me hate this game little by little.

Now I'm getting to the point where I feel like blocking this website from my browser all together. As well as never wanting to bother playing it later on just for pissing me off so much. Also, if you don't capture my attention now with a beta invite it's likely you'll lose me entirely to other games that will be released soon.

You should have never put this timer up, all it causes is frustration.

Not really, i find it alot better then what companies have done in the past.

"signup for your chance of being in beta" then 6 months down the road you forget about because they don't even have forum to post on.

edit: also its no different from that, they just added a timer on the front page, you don't like it? then don't look at it :P

Seriously? Of course I know what random is, that doesn't mean I like to watch RANDOM people who aren't me get the key every time I visit the site. Why should I be subjected to constant ridicule? It's pointless and needs to be removed.

And that's why you don't look at the timer constantly.

I didn't think I would get picked for beta being a new member and all, so I stopped looking at the timer, then lo and behold I got picked.

other people want to TEST the game for bugs etc
