Host/Carnage Chieftain Spectre Level

What I've got:

Character lvl 58
Desecrate gem lvl 13 (spawns corpses up to level 59)
Spectre gem lvl 13 (raised spectres are level 63)
In Act 6 Southern Forest lvl 49

I can have 3 spectres at this time. I'm using 2 Carnage and 1 Host.

pathofexile.gamepedia.com states:

"
Spectre: Monster level: Spectres no longer have their level reduced to the level of the area they are in. Instead, the level of a Spectre is now based on the lowest of either the level of the monster they were raised from, or the maximum level allowed by the skill gem used. This is now indicated on the skill gem.

Desecrate: Note that the levels stated beneath are maximum levels of the corpses created by Desecrate. The real level of the spawned corpses is still capped by the zone level.

I'm now in Act 7 Chamber of Sins lvl 52 and want to upgrade my spectres to lvl 52 as well.

I've spammed desecrate for 30 minutes so far in Act 7 Chamber of Sins and ONLY Carnage Chieftain appears. Have not gotten a single Host Chieftain. If I go back to Act 6 Southern Forest I can get multiple Host Chieftain using desecrate very quickly. (Don't know if this is a bug or not)

So if I do use desecrate in Act 6 Southern Forest will the spectre lvl be capped at the zone lvl (ie 49)?

Based on the zone, spectre gem and desecrate gem, what lvl would Host Chieftain be?

You can't desecrate spectres that spawn minions when they die i believe (knitted horrors, parasite hosts etc) or some niche ones like hairy bonecrunchers.

Just go to the waypoint in act 6 and get some new ones, you don't need to desecrate anymore and they aren't tied to the map level or the killed monster level, the level it says on your spectre gem is the level you will get.

A whole lot of stuff has changed. The wiki isn't going to give you the new info for quite some time.
I've been able to spawn both from Descrate, intermittently, but sometimes it seems to forget. If nothing else, I usually have good luck going back to my hideout to Desecrate for 'em. =^[.]^=
