Minion towers block spawn and prevent Blight encounter end

Normal Blight encounter in a map. I built minion towers close to a spawn point. The encounter would not end, I think the minions are body-blocking the monster spawns (there are red dots on minimap, but when I use my AoE skills nothing is hit, minions/cassia aren't attacking anything).
