Ranger-deadeye: poison, bleed, AND blind

Hello
To start I'm on PS4,with loads of questions brand new player. I only play hardcore, now only ranger deadeye, died like 7 times now (some from desyncs and dying in town!!1!1!) only ever made it to malachai 2nd iteration in act4 and got merked It's my understanding that bleed poison and blind are all modified by attack damage (projectile in this case which I messed up my nodes at first not realizing physical != Attack)? Is there a cap to the % damage dealt in poison or bleed damage where it would be prudent to try and get /both/ and not focus on one? E.g. you can only ever inflict 30% of your attack damage (non elemental) in a poisonous hit for it's chaos dot, and further stacks increase rate of damage not total posion damage, therefore you'd want to bolster with bleed stacks? It seems to.me the poison bleed and blind nodes are all close and all close to the bow nodes, so getting all 3 > focusing on one Not sure what blind even does, but am going to look now so I don't get the guy who links the wiki page Ideas for gear too? I really like quill rain now for being able to 6 link a level 5 item and boost to act 4 with it, but with it's 40% attack damage reduction it doesn't go well with poison bleed blind /I think/. I have snakebite gauntlets and purchase orders for malachais amulet and viper plate armor, but those all only bolster poison so maybe you know of some that would be better suited for all three ailments I'm after? " You should rather play on sc, reach endgame with several characters before even trying HC. There are countless ways how to die in this game you have no idea about yet but it´s up to you:) About Bleed, Poison and Blind The Poe Wiki is very good source of information. Both Bleed and Poison are damaging ailments. https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Bleed https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Poison Blind is defensive mechanic https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blind Just note that making decent bleed / poison build requires knowing game mechanics quite well. Ok thank you I'll read up on them there and save this thread for anything I don't understand. And yes I know, when dying from the burning man i nearly went into SC but I'm no scrub >=]
The game would be too easy with death, all games are to easy with death. Maybe if it nukes your stash or dropped you 33% total exp per death or something |
