I have a question about Watcher's Eye Prismatic Jewel option

I wonder. Which of the following two will increase my character's DPS a lot?



12% chance to deal Double Damage while using Pride


Impales you inflict last 2 additional Hits while using Pride

My impale chance is 100% and my impale effect increase is 38.5%

Too many variables to answer. Use POB to add such jewel and plug it in to see, which one increases your damage output more.

POB does not calculate Impale, at least it was not doing it when I was planning my Cycloner, so it might be still difficult.

Theoretically, first one should provide 12% more damage to you but the damage output will be inconsistent. It would not be an issue on end-game bosses but it would be annoying (not efficient) during map clear.

2 additional impale stacks is 40% increase of Impale performance (similar to Champion's ascendancy Master of Metal. This is very powerful as long as you are pure physical damage build. This will again be most effective on end-game bosses and less effective during map clear.

My choice, purely on what I said above, would be Impale one as I feel it would be a bit more consistent than the other one.

Best Watcher's eye for physical crit builds, typically Cyclone, would be Pride - increased physical attack damage & Precision - increased critical strike multiplier. Only problem is such jewel costs 60+ Exalts O_o
