Elder's orb not dropping

I have tried spawning elder on t15 which has happened twice. I have up till t14 shapers orb. Last memory fragment won't drop even after killing elder on t15 (summit).
What am I doing wrong? I think it might be a bug since my friends who have also played for quite some time has told me that it should not be happening.

I have up to the 14th one as can be checked in the templar lab where zana chills out

What does Zana tell you to do now?

She tells me to go to red maps and banish elder.

I've killed elder in red maps in tier 12+ about 3 times now idk whats wrong, I'll try getting someone who can 1shot elder next time and see if anything changes i guess

Did you killed the Guardians before u went to Elder? Because you need to kill all the elder Guardians first, then Elder, then shaper to get the elder orb.
