Creating a bot just for the purpose of learning AI

i just want developers permission to start working on an ai that can play poe for the purpose of learning ai coding most likely i wont be successful yet most likely i wont even start working on it its like setting a goal to reach the sun and you know you wont reach it but if someone gave you the green lite yeah go ahead you are allowed to even try then it might be enough motivation to start working on something great Thanks Last bumped on Jul 11, 2019, 5:19:26 PM

don't learn ai by making a bot in a game. Make a python crashcourse (depending on your level it can range to 1 relaxed to 15 hard days or even more if you don't have the fiber) then install a n AI framework and don't try going ham in every direction, just focus on machine learning at first. Afterward there is a long consolidation phase where you start learning vital peripherical stuffs that would help you building your use cases(creating and consuming APIs, what is a datamodel, an application lifecycle...). And don't get me started on reactive programming and other stuffs that are core for making relevant/sexy AI stuffs. SpaceTime is not trivial at all to modelise, I firmly suggest you to avoid this consideration early on in your tribulations.
2019 is not the year to learn IT stuffs by yourself in your garage, you need to absorb a lot of what influencers have to say to be relevant before that in any field. I think you can start an open project to make a bot for PoE and GGG can easily ban it from their server.
Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3
