Calculating Energy Shield on Shield with other bonuses?

I can't seem to google the right combo to find information on the energy shield calculations.
I don't fully understand the orders or when they use the stats additively for calculating: Energy Shield on Shield + Energy Shield Maximum (Necklace) + Energy Shield Maximum (Passives) + Energy Shield % (Gear) + Local Energy Shield (Gear Base) + Local Energy Shield (Mod) + Quality bonus. The only bit I understand is that Local Energy Shield (Mod) gets added in before both the Quality and Energy Shield % takes place. I'm not sure on passives at all, or even the Necklace maximum bonuses... Links or even just a flat formula would help greatly. |

I think the formula is same as calculating life:
Total ES = (Base ES * ES Multiplier) * Nodes w/ MORE ES (e.g. infused shield) Base ES would be from jewelries w/ "+ to maximum ES" and armours, and multipliers are jewelries and passive skills w/ "% increased ES". " all of the energy shield % and + energy shield on gear only applies to that piece of gear. energy shield on shield is the same as energy shield on anything else. max energy shield just adds that number to your total energy shield. energy shield nodes add that % of base energy shield to your energy shield. the first 5% node gives you the same amount as the second 5% node they dont count each other when adding es |

you literally just re-iterated things that should be common knowledge. I'm asking about the order in which the calculations take place.

The percent of the primary is only primary when the secondary percent is the same or greater than the secondary when the secondary does not have multiplicative percents added to it.
