I tried to grab this quest from Silk in act 7 chamber of sins but because i'm already at the stage of mapping for some reason he is not there anymore and I can not grab this quest.... so now i'm down a full skill point and I really really would appreciate if someone reset my character in some way to fix this bug please.

I don't think Silk has anything to do with that quest? You can just get the reward, if typing /passives into chat has shown that you did not get the passive skill point from it already, by killing Ralakesh in the boss arena of The Ashen Fields. If you want to read up on the plot from it, you want to talk to Eramir in town, not Silk in the Chamber of Sins.
