Loreweave, Jewelers Trick

Soooo, my first loreweave...I had all the colors I needed except the last slot so I decided I would do the jeweler trick force 5 socket and back to 6 socket....and it tells me it has max sockets when I try to put it back to 6 sockets...am I just screwed now or what?

Use bench to craft 6 sockets. If it already has 5 sockets it will just add 6th of random color so it's just gona cost you 300 or however many jewelers it costs instead of 1 :)

Next time make sure item lvl is high enough for it to be able to have 6 sockets

doesnt the bench over ride item level tho when it comes to socketing?

Yes, you can get 6 sockets on an ilvl 1 item with bench. It can also overwrite 6L is you for some reason need that

It tells me I already have 6 sockets...its loreweave...I was trying to bench overide so I put it to 5 sockets from 6 and now it wont go back to 6

I rolled my 3 off color but needed my last one red so I went to 5 sockets and was going to put it back to 6 hoping the last one would roll red since its armor es chest. and it wont go back to 6 (edit) says "item has fixed sockets" when i try to put it back to 6 sockets...but if it has fixed sockets why would it let me take it down to 5? Is it bugged or did I brick my loreweave?
