T-shirt and hoodie worried about customs and toll fees (Norway)

Hi there i'm about to upgrade my core pack and i'm really struggling between getting the T-shirt and hoodie. Or just getting the extra coins.

Now what really worries me is the Toll fees for my country. that says something like this.

"
"It's toll on many clothes. In most cases, the duty rate is 10.7 per cent. In addition, you must pay VAT of 25 percent."

Now anyone from Norway here got any experience with getting the clothes shipped, or anyone that can give me a rough estimate on what it ill cost me to get the individual pieces imported?

Your looking at around 25-30 euro in taxes for just the shirt/hoody unless they assume the cost is related to the entire supporter pack then it will be way more.

well the rules are kind of cryptic.

You must always pay 25 per cent value-added tax on clothing regardless of whether or not there is a duty on the product. The value added tax is calculated on the basis of the total cost of the goods. Included in the calculation basis is, for example, also shipping and insurance costs up to the Norwegian border and any customs and other import taxes.

the issue is figuring out the total cost.

Guess i put it on hold for a while. could be really expensive i guess.

Bump sorry.

But do anyone know if any of those fees are avoidable?

Is the VAT payed?, I will easily pay the 10.7%.

I might even stretch it to the 25% if I knew a reliable estimate.

paying an extra 35.7% feels like a ripoff though.
I am so glad I live in the USA where we don't get these crazy charges after already paying for items. Sorry you non-Americans have to deal with that craziness.

Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Call it a "collectable" and promise never to wear it.
im in canada and i got my shirt without having to pay any duties. came straight to my door

it said on the paper invoice thing from xsolla that its cost of the item was like 50 cents or something.

i was a little worried about customs too. tracking it it went from sweden or some other weird country all the way to los angeles, and then up here to bc canada. so i thought there might be some kind of issue, but it all went down fine

Thanks for the hug, honestly i'm not to sad the customs are strict here. Being one of the worlds most expensive country, we also have the most expensive work force.

So, if it was free to ship stuff cross our boarders, a lot of us would be out of a job.

Well that's just my 5 cents at least.
As I live in Norway and have ordered severel things in the past - you definitly pay 35%. There is no way around that.
On the other hand, we earn way more than most people buying these T-shirts😉
Hilsen😁
obligatory not from Norway but...

point values pulled from GGG's alternative choice on supporter packs instead of getting the physical goods

The t-shirt is valued at 160 points(shipped), so thats $16 SHIPPED
T-shirt and hoodie combo is valued at 660 points(shipped), so thats $66 SHIPPED

this is international shipping from I assuming from US to Norway(I am assuming no euro location) so you can say $20 value in shipping(its "free international shipping" aka its build into item price

if your getting the art pack to, thats another 140 points in value... which you might be able to argue lowers the value of the clothing(for import tax purposes)

so you can try to claim full value is around $45 for the clothes

you can also email GGG to get a actual value of the items for import tax purposes... so if they come back and say $30 actual cost of goods it might help you(to note... I am not a lawyer, tax expert, or import expert)

there is also potential it is declared as a thank you gift so value for import purposes would possibly be $0
When GGG have their items shipped to us they set the value to 0 (sometimes 1 dollar) depending on the company that does the print for them. You pay 0 taxes for that (Norway). I have gotten all my stuff like this over the years.
